Print the Planet! 3D Printing in K-12 Schools
3D printing takes computer models and turns them into real objects you can hold in your hand. Learn how to incorporate 3D design and printing into your curriculum. Two teachers will demonstrate STEM-based curriculum that allows students to think, design and print their inventions. 3D printers will be onsite and running during presentation.

Presenters

Chris Champion is a Computer Science teacher at Cumberland Perry AVTS in Mechanicsburg, PA. Chris got a 3D printer so that his robotics students could prototype and manufacture robotics parts so that they could extend their understanding of robotics and mechatronics.

Ann Leaness is an English Teacher at the Science Leadership Academy at Beeber in Philadelphia, PA.
